About Us

Our primary service is our Sunday morning service at 10:00 a.m. with Holy Eucharist and choir. Other services are scheduled throughout the year on special occasions.

Children are most welcome at St. Mary’s. Sunday School is offered in our parish room downstairs from the sanctuary or, if you prefer, your child may stay with you during the service. Following our morning service we invite you to join us in our church hall for fellowship and refreshments.

Our services include a rich tradition of set and responsive prayers and time for listening to and reflecting on Scripture. Traditional hymns, as well as more contemporary Christian music, are spread throughout the service offering many opportunities to lift up your voice in praise. Holy Eucharist (Communion) is a central part of our service and everyone is invited to partake.

St. Mary's has many opportunities for involvement and growth through our Men's Ministry (Brotherhood of St. Andrews), Women's Group, Youth Ministry, Sunday School, and Pastoral Care. We welcome you to take part in our service as a Reader, Prayer Leader, Acolyte, or Choir Member. We are regularly seeking new members for our Altar Guild and our Sides Persons (Ushers/Greeters). And we invite you join us for educational opportunities such as Bible Study.

Our parish sponsors two foster children through the Christian Children's Fund of Canada and supports the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF), the official international aid and development agency of the Anglican Church of Canada. We collect donations for our sister parish in New Westminster, St. Barnabas' Neighbourhood Ministry, as well as support the Elizabeth Fry Society and Senior Services Society in New Westminster.

We are proud of our rich heritage dating back to 1865. The interior of our beautiful, heritage church building is finished throughout in rich natural cedar. Many exquisite stained glass windows and other fine memorials attest to the love and devotion given to St. Mary's by its faithful members over the years.
